APPOINTMENT POLICIES
- Each session is approximately 60 minutes long.
- The first appointment, which includes a history and assessment, lasts approximately 75 minutes.
- If a client is late for a treatment session, the session still falls within the 60-minute allotted time slot.
- If Rev. Shirley is late, the session lasts the full 60 minutes or the treatment rate is discounted.
- If you wish to cancel an appointment, you must do so 24 hours in advance, or you will be charged the full amount of the session unless the appointment can be filled. Emergency cancellations will not be charged at the healer's discretion.If Rev. Shirley needs to cancel an appointment she will do so within 24 hours if possible. If not your next session will be at no charge.
- Rev. Shirley will return all phone calls within 24 hours.
- Rev. Shirley reserves the right to refrain from working on a person who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Sexual harassment is not tolerated. If the healer's safety feels compromised, the session is stopped immediately.
FEES
- If during the assessment, Rev. Shirley determines with reasonable certainty that her work will not help you she will end the session and you will not be charged for the initial appointment.
- Reiki sessions are $60.
- Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made prior to treatment. LifeCenter accepts cash and checks only - no credit cards. LifeCenter does not bill clients nor provide billing for insurance.
- Individuals who have financial constraints are welcome to discuss this with Rev. Shirley to see what can be worked out, such as a sliding fee scale, referral to a practioner with a fee you can afford or to a student practioner.
PROFESSIONALISM
- Our profession ascribes to a code of ethical behavior, which is available upon request and posted in the LifeCenter reception room. Rev. Shirley follows all of the statements in this ethical code and has strong beliefs that practioners and their clients should not engage in intimate social relationships.
- Personal and professional boundaries are respected at all times.
- Rev. Shirley performs services for which she is qualified (professionally, physically and emotionally) and able to do and refers clients to appropriate specialists when work is not within her scope of practice or not in the client's best interest.
- Rev. Shirley customizes treatment to meet the client's specific needs.
- Rev. Shirley respects all clients regardless of age, gender, race, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, body type, political affiliation, state of health and personal habits.
RECOURSE POLICY
- If you are dissatisfied with your healing session, you will receive a full refund for that session or a complementary treatment.
